Is Topanga Canyon Boulevard open right now?
Yes, Topanga Canyon Boulevard (SR-27) is currently open to the public. Hours for access are now extended: the road is open daily between 5:00 a.m. and 12:00 a.m. Overnight closures remain in place to allow contractors to continue road work. Expect delays and intermittent traffic control between Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) and Grand View Drive, particularly between mile markers 2.3 and 2.7. The traffic signal at PCH and SR-27 may flash red in all directions—please drive with caution.
How do I get to your studio if SR-27 is closed?
Topanga Canyon Boulevard is now open during the day from 5:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., so most visitors can reach us without issue. If you’re planning an early morning or late-night visit outside these hours, alternate routes through Malibu Canyon Road or Las Flores Canyon may be necessary. For the latest road updates, we recommend checking Caltrans or Google Maps before your visit.
